Diagnostic Service

In our dental clinic, we offer a comprehensive diagnostic service that includes digital radiography, digital panoramic radiography, and clinical examination. We use digital radiography to obtain real-time images with less radiation, allowing for faster and more effective diagnosis, as well as being environmentally friendly and reducing work time. Digital panoramic radiography provides a complete image of all teeth and surrounding tissues, allowing for timely diagnosis of lesions and accurate assessment of wisdom teeth.
During the clinical examination, we perform a detailed review of all surfaces of each tooth to assess the presence of cavities, fractures, or previous restorations and their current state. We also check the gums and soft tissues, such as the tongue, palate, cheeks, floor of the mouth, and throat, to rule out any lesions. Additionally, we verify the sealing of crowns if the patient has them, take blood pressure, and perform a physical examination of the head and neck.
Our goal is to provide an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis to design a personalized and effective treatment plan, ensuring the best care for your oral health.

Treatment Plan by Appointments

In our dental clinic, we offer a treatment plan by appointments that begins with a detailed diagnosis. Based on this diagnosis, we plan the recommended treatment for each tooth, presenting all possible options. We also provide a tentative budget and determine the number of appointments needed to complete the treatment. Additionally, we offer a flexible payment plan to adapt to your needs.
We use an intraoral camera to improve the relationship between the dentist and the patient. This tool allows the patient to visualize the treatment performed and observe in real-time the findings during the examination. This not only facilitates understanding of the treatment but also increases trust and transparency in the process.

Cleanings and Maintenance

In our dental clinic, we offer cleaning and maintenance services to ensure the ongoing oral health of our patients. Regular cleaning is performed every six months and consists of removing accumulated plaque on the tooth surface, smoothing surfaces to prevent plaque buildup, using dental floss, and polishing teeth. This procedure is essential for maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing dental problems.
We also offer maintenance every six months for restorations and crowns. During these appointments, we check margins, polish and seal restorations, and make adjustments or touch-ups if necessary. This ensures that restorations and crowns are maintained in optimal condition and function correctly.
Periodontal maintenance is crucial after a deep cleaning and should be performed every 3-4 months. This maintenance includes reviewing and comparing periodontal pockets from previous appointments to prevent further damage to tissues surrounding the tooth, prevent tooth mobility or loss, and maintain periodontal health. We also use dental floss and polish teeth during these appointments.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive and preventive dental care to keep your smile healthy and radiant.

Prevention

In our dental clinic, we offer a variety of preventive services to maintain your oral health in optimal condition. We use sealants on teeth without cavities or previous fillings, applying a material in the grooves to prevent plaque buildup and, therefore, prevent cavities. This procedure is quick, suitable for children and adults, does not wear down the tooth, and is performed without anesthesia or pain.
Fluoride application is another preventive service we offer for both children and adults. For children, an application every six months is recommended. Fluoride helps reduce tooth sensitivity and strengthens tooth enamel.
We also provide personalized brushing and flossing techniques, offering advice on the use of brushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwashes, and proper techniques. We teach specific brushing techniques for children and patients with gum problems, as well as hygiene for plates and cleaning of bridges and crowns.
Our motivational talks are didactic and explanatory, detailing the conditions of the teeth, diagnoses, treatment options, materials, and techniques. We use photographs, videos, books, and typodons to make these sessions more interactive and understandable.
Finally, we offer dental plaque control through the use of plaque-revealing tablets. These tablets are chewed and stain areas where plaque remained after brushing, allowing us to evaluate progress at each appointment and improve the patient's brushing technique.

Dental Aesthetics

In our dental clinic, we offer a variety of aesthetic treatments to improve the appearance of your smile. We use porcelain, Emax, and resin veneers, which are coverings that adhere to the surface of teeth to change the image of front teeth, providing a natural and attractive appearance.
We offer dental whitening that can be done in the office in a single one-hour appointment, or at home for two weeks at night. We recommend avoiding substances that can darken teeth during the days following whitening, such as coffee, tea, tobacco, mustard, ketchup, soda, red wine, soy, and red sauces. We also provide a treatment to prevent tooth sensitivity and suggest performing whitening every two years.
We perform gingival surgeries when the gum covers a significant portion of the tooth contour. This procedure removes excess gum to create an aesthetic and proportionate contour.
Our restorations include resins of the same color as natural teeth, which are placed after removing cavities from tooth surfaces. These resins require maintenance every six months and up to four can be done per appointment. In most cases, anesthesia is used, although in some it is not necessary.
We also offer inlays, which are indicated for large cavities when it is not necessary to place a crown. These restorations are made in the dental laboratory with more resistant materials and require two appointments for placement.
Our goal is to provide high-quality aesthetic treatments so you can have a beautiful and healthy smile.

Removable and Complete Prosthesis

In our dental clinic, we offer solutions for replacing lost teeth through removable and complete prostheses. Removable prostheses are used to replace lost teeth and are dentures that can be removed and put back in. It is important to remove them for sleeping and for better hygiene. This prosthesis is held in place by the remaining teeth in the mouth using clasps and can be made of different materials, some combined with metal and others entirely without it. Generally, 3 to 4 appointments are required to complete this treatment.
Complete prosthesis is a full denture that is used when there are no teeth in the mouth. Like removable prostheses, it should be removed for sleeping and for good hygiene. This treatment also requires 3 to 4 appointments.
We offer crowns and bridges to restore individual or multiple teeth. Crowns can be made of metal with porcelain, Emax, or zirconium, and are cemented onto teeth when they present weakness or extensive destruction. This procedure requires two appointments and gives a specific shape around the tooth to ensure a perfect fit.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth, using adjacent teeth as pillars. The teeth on either side of the missing tooth space are given a specific shape for the construction of the bridge, providing a fixed solution for replacing missing teeth. This treatment generally requires three appointments.

Extractions and Periodontics

In our dental clinic, we offer a variety of extraction services and periodontal treatments to maintain and improve the health of your gums and bones. We perform simple extractions and third molar (wisdom teeth) extractions when necessary.
In the area of periodontics, we offer treatments such as scaling and root planing, commonly known as deep cleaning. This procedure includes a prior evaluation of the condition of the gum and bone surrounding each tooth, and is performed under anesthesia. The mouth is divided into four sections, and all can be treated in a single appointment.
Crown lengthening is performed when there are cavities or fractures covered by gum. In this procedure, tissue is removed to uncover the affected areas and have adequate visibility to perform the proposed treatment.
Resective surgeries are carried out when periodontal pocket problems are not solved with deep cleaning. This procedure helps reduce periodontal pockets and improve gum health.
Root coverage is a graft that is placed when tooth roots are exposed due to gum recession. This treatment helps protect the roots and improve the aesthetics of the smile.

Endodontics

In our dental clinic, we offer endodontic treatments to relieve pain and save damaged teeth. Endodontics, or root canal treatment, is performed when there is pain in a tooth. This procedure consists of removing the nerve from the roots and filling that space with a special material to obtain a hermetic and bacteria-free seal. Generally, two appointments are required to complete the treatment.
After endodontics, it is necessary to reconstruct the tooth. There are two ways to do this:
Post: This is a pin that is inserted into the root to give greater resistance to the tooth. It is used when there is extensive dental destruction. You should wait at least one week after the endodontics is finished to place the post.
Monoblock: This is the restoration of the destroyed space with composite. It is used when there is minimal tooth destruction.
If you experience intense pain, abscesses, or infections, it is crucial to see the dentist as soon as possible. In the first appointment, the pain is eliminated by starting the endodontics. When there is a severe infection, the number of appointments needed to complete the treatment may increase.
In cases of retreatment, when pain persists or occurs after some time in teeth with previous endodontics, it is recommended to perform the treatment again. This process generally requires at least three appointments.

Dental Surgery

In our dental clinic, we offer a wide range of surgical procedures to improve and maintain oral health. Our services include sinus elevations, frenectomies, apicoectomies, bone grafts, biopsies, and implants.
Dental implants are titanium screws that join to the bone, forming the root of the tooth. This is an ideal option for replacing missing teeth. The procedure consists of two phases: first, the implant is placed simply with local anesthesia. Then, we wait approximately 4-6 months to ensure that the implant bonds correctly with the bone. Subsequently, an abutment is placed that will be the base of the crown. After approximately one month, the crown is placed, which requires two appointments.
We offer overdentures, which are fixed or removable prostheses that are held in the mouth by implants. These can be screwed or removable, providing a stable and comfortable solution for patients.
Before proceeding with implants, we conduct a comprehensive study to determine if the patient is a suitable candidate. This study includes assessing the general health status, bone quality and quantity, among other factors that will guide the correct treatment planning.

Orthodontics

In our dental clinic, we offer orthodontic treatments to correct teeth alignment and improve oral health. One of the options we offer is Invisalign, an alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign is a comfortable and transparent guard system that can be removed for brushing teeth, eating, and flossing, providing a discreet and convenient solution for aligning teeth.
We also offer braces, which are an effective option for correcting incorrectly positioned teeth. Teeth in bad position and those that do not bite correctly against each other are difficult to keep clean and are at risk of early loss due to cavities and periodontal diseases. Braces help align teeth, improving both the aesthetics and functionality of the bite.
Before starting any orthodontic treatment, we perform preliminary studies. In the first appointment, the patient will be sent to perform the necessary studies for diagnosis. Subsequently, a personalized treatment plan will be created, knowing the duration and cost according to the specific needs of the patient.
